The Alba Grade Cinnamon that we source is traditionally farmed by local farmers in the exotic southern regions of Sri Lanka. Carefully cultivated from the first inner bark of the cinnamon tree, only to take the first layer. Then it is artisanal crafted to produce the purest alba cinnamon powder. Making sure that no impurities are rolled into the Alba grade cinnamon powder.
The cinnamon powder we offer comes directly from Alba cinnamon Sticks.
Most cinnamon powder is a mixture of different grade quilling’s. However, our cinnamon powder is the highest quality due to the fact that it comes from Alba grade cinnamon sticks.

Alba Ceylon Cinnamon 8-12 mm in diameter
Alba Cinnamon is 8-12 millimeters in diameter. This is the industry standard for Alba Grade Cinnamon from Sri Lanka.
However, Gourmet Ceylon Cinnamon takes pride in providing our customers with the best quality Alba grade cinnamon, so we stride to have our Alba cinnamon under 10 mm.
Every stick of our is hand artistically crafted by hand. Sri Lankan cinnamon farmers that have been doing it for generations hand craft the alba sticks by packing them with the highest quality inner cinnamon bark. Since our cinnamon is hand crafted and start off with a 24-inch stick before they are cut to our specialty 5 inch sticks the diameter varies slightly from one end of the stick to the other end. This process is done by human hands, never machines, so there always slight variation in size, anywhere from 8-10 millimiters.
